American Airlines fleet consisted of180 Boeing 727's, flying from1964 to 2002. American Airlines maintenance headquarters has been in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When N1959 (10835) was sold to Hardesty Corporation (Tulsa, OK), AA continued to maintain the aircraft under contract, until the sale to Hemmeter Corp.

Aloha Airlines was contracted to assist with maintenance during the Hemmeter ownership. I negotiated with Henri Arii and Ted Kagoshima at Aloha Airlines maintenance department to provide certified Boeing aircraft inspections and repairs as required.
