This website is a continuation or companion to the Antilles Air Boats site. The AAB site tells the story of the seaplane airline that flew in the U.S. Virgin Islands from 1964 to 1981. The website has grown to so many pages that it was exceeding its data parameters and was becoming problematic.

The tomanusewicz.wixsite.com/eheu-hawaii site will share more stories about my aviation years before and after Antilles Air Boats. There is more emphasis on Hawaii, not only my specific workplaces but my comments

This website is a not for profit, historical look at variuos aviation entities during my 50 plus years in aviation. Most of the photos have been taken by myself and other staff and friends. A number of photos have been taken from the internet with approval from the original photographer. A number of images were taken over 50 years ago and even with research and letters of request, final approval was not forthcoming. My intent is not to infringe on any copyrights but to post photographs with credit given and links where appropriate. If anyone has concerns of any images posted please feel free to contact me.

During my 40 years of operating at the airports in Hawaii, the state leadership had many faces. I operated under the direction of 6 Governors, 11 Directors of Transportation, 6 Deputy Directors and 21 District Airport Managers. With the various agendas and levels of expertise, it was not always easy to navigate. My intent is not to disparage any individual but to make comments on specific events, and decisions

and how they effected our business .

As of January 2022, I am retired. I have enjoyed my years in this industry, but I must say working with the State of Hawaii government was a challenge.  I will share my personal comments of Hawaii's airports, airlines and service companies over the  years and supplement with various news articles and photos of days gone by.
